DPIL secures Rs 163 crore cable orders from Adani group

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL) has received letters of intent (LOIs) from three Adani Group companies for the supply of power and control cables, with the combined contract value exceeding Rs 163 crore. The company disclosed these orders to regulators on April 6, 2026.

The largest order, valued at approximately Rs 100.54 crore, has been awarded by Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited. It covers the supply of assorted sizes of high-tension (HT) cables, with execution scheduled from April 2026 to February 2027.

Adani Power Limited (APL) has issued an LOI worth Rs 43.26 crore for the design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing, packing, forwarding, transit insurance, transportation, and supply of various sizes of power and control cables. The order is linked to the Raipur Phase II Thermal Power Project in Chhattisgarh and is scheduled for completion by July 31, 2026.

The third LOI, valued at Rs 19.57 crore, has been awarded by Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) for the supply of cables. Delivery is required within 15 days from the issuance of the LOI.

All three contracts are domestic in nature. DPIL has stated that none of its promoters, promoter group entities, or group companies have any interest in the awarding entities. The company also confirmed that these orders do not qualify as related party transactions.
