Grew Energy Pvt Ltd, a solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing company, has entered into a partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) to advance innovation and excellence in photovoltaic technology. This collaboration will focus on solar cell and module manufacturing, performance characterization, and reliability assessments, aiming to drive significant advancements in the sector.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IIT Bombay and Grew Energy lays the groundwork for a dynamic partnership that will foster technological innovation through joint initiatives in knowledge management, continuing education, and technology development. The partnership will also engage in joint consultancy and research projects to tackle critical industry challenges and promote innovation.
Key aspects of the collaboration include supporting internships, intellectual property licensing, and various research initiatives. A collaborative ecosystem will be developed, emphasizing manufacturing, performance evaluation, reliability testing, and workforce training.
