Vikran Engineering secures Rs 20.35 billion solar contract in Maharashtra

Vikran Engineering Limited has secured a turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 20.35 billion from Onix Renewables Limited for developing 600 MW (Alternating Current or AC) solar power projects across multiple locations in Maharashtra.

The work order, dated December 22, 2025, includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the projects. The scope also covers the supply of key equipment such as solar photovoltaic modules and inverters. The projects are expected to be completed within 12 months.

The company stated that the contract will be executed on a turnkey EPC basis, covering end-to-end activities from project design to commissioning.

In October 2025, Vikran Engineering secured a Rs 3.54 billion turnkey EPC contract from Ellume Energy MH SolarOne for a 100 MW (AC) and 120 MW (Direct Current or DC) solar project in Maharashtra.
