ACME Solar appoints new EPC president

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has appointed Mr KR Thiyagarajan as President of its EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) division and designated him as a Senior Management Personnel.
ACME Solar said the Board of Directors approved the appointment after a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
The company also changed the reporting structure for Harjinder Kamboj, who previously served as Vice President of Quality and as a Senior Management Personnel. Kamboj will now report to Thiyagarajan.
Thiyagarajan has more than 35 years of experience in the power and infrastructure sectors. His earlier roles include senior positions at Reliance Industries Limited New Energy, Tata Power Solar System Limited and Avaada Power Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology and an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad. His new responsibilities include project execution, cost optimisation and technology integration across ACME Solar’s renewable energy portfolio.
The company said the management changes support its expansion plan. ACME Solar aims to reach 10 GW of operational contracted capacity by 2030. It currently operates 2,934 MW and is building another 4,586 MW, which includes battery energy storage systems.
The disclosures were filed with BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
