RSWM partners with Adani Energy for 60 MW renewable power supply
RSWM Ltd, part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has partnered with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd to source 60 MW of renewable power for its Rajasthan operations. The deal supports RSWM’s goal of increasing renewable energy share from 33% to 70%. The company has invested Rs 60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme to procure 31.53 crore units of green power annually. RSWM’s sustainability measures already offset 8 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions and recycle 183 crore PET bottles each year. The partnership aligns industrial power consumption with India’s growing clean energy mix.
Fourth Partner Energy secures Rs 7.8 billion refinancing from NIIF-IFL
Fourth Partner Energy has obtained Rs 7.8 billion in refinancing from NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited for its rooftop solar portfolio. The financing consolidates multiple projects under a single lender structure to streamline operations and strengthen capital efficiency. The company has commissioned more than 1.2 GW of open access projects and is developing over 800 MW of hybrid capacity. With this support, Fourth Partner Energy continues toward its 9 GW portfolio target by 2031. The transaction follows earlier funding of USD 275 million from IFC, ADB, and DEG.
Senvion India signed an MoU with Integrum Energy for the supply and commissioning of up to 50 units of its 4.2M160 wind turbines, totaling 210 MW across Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka. Deliveries are set to begin in Q2 FY27, followed by phased commissioning. The turbines, built with over 85% local content, are designed to enhance output and reduce lifecycle costs. Senvion India CEO Amit Kansal said the collaboration marks a milestone in scaling locally engineered products. Integrum Energy’s MD Anand Lahoti said the deal supports its expansion in hybrid and standalone wind projects.
CERC’s proposed deviation rules may impact renewable project profitability
The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has proposed new deviation settlement rules for wind and solar generators to improve scheduling accuracy. The framework, expected to start in April 2026, will gradually reduce tolerance margins until 2031. Industry groups warn the rules could impact project profitability, especially for wind developers facing variable output. The Wind Independent Power Producers Association estimated potential revenue losses of up to 48% for older projects and has challenged previous regulations in court. The National Solar Energy Federation of India also cautioned that the measures could deter new renewable investments.
