NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced that 212.5 MW from the 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar photovoltaic project developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has commenced commercial operations from 20 August 2025.
The Khavda-I project is being developed under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III.
The company further reported that 52.8 MW of wind capacity from a 100 MW hybrid project in Gujarat will be declared commercially operational with effect from 21 August 2025. The hybrid project, comprising 92.4 MW of wind and 37.5 MW of solar, is developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited.
Ayana Renewable Power is wholly owned by ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a joint venture of NTPC Green Energy and ONGC.
