Adani Energy forms three new subsidiaries for Maharashtra expansion

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has established three wholly-owned subsidiaries to support its expansion in Maharashtra’s electricity distribution sector. The entities were registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, on 4 August 2025.
The new subsidiaries are Adani Electricity Kalyan Dombivli Limited (AEKDL), Adani Electricity Pune Limited (AEPL), and Adani Electricity Vidharbha Limited (AEVL). Each company has an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs 1 lakh, fully subscribed by AESL. Shares were acquired at face value of Rs 10 per share in cash.
The companies have been set up to handle electricity production, generation, transmission, and distribution. None have started operations yet.
The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations and the SEBI circular dated 11 November 2024. The transaction does not involve any related-party dealings or require prior government approvals.
