NLC India secures 450 MW hybrid project under NTPC tender

NLC India Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) to set up 450 megawatts (MW) of Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The award was issued on June 27, 2025, under NTPC Limited’s hybrid tender NTPC-03.
NLC had secured the capacity in March 2025 by quoting a tariff of Rs 3.35 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
A power purchase agreement (PPA) will be signed between NLC and NTPC for 25 years. It will comprise a 300 MW solar power plant in Bikaner, Rajasthan, and a 150 MW wind power plant in Bhuj, Gujarat.
