Uno Minda and IGL approve investments in solar power projects

The Board of Directors of Uno Minda Limited has approved an investment to procure 17.85 MWp of captive solar power in Maharashtra.
The company will invest Rs 62.5 million to acquire a 9.75 per cent equity stake in Amplus Ampere Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of Amplus Energy Solutions Private Limited.
The SPV will supply 17.85 MWp solar power to Uno Minda from its larger 54.94 MWp project. The acquisition is expected to be completed by June 2025.
Separately, the Board of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has approved a joint venture with Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL) for developing a solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The approval was granted on March 29, 2025.
IGL will invest Rs 3,820 million as equity in the joint venture for the project.
