AMPIN Energy Transition has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Poly Medicure Limited to supply 9.9 MWp of solar power from its 75 MWp solar park in Kurungawali, Sirsa, Haryana.
This agreement will provide renewable energy for Poly Medicure’s operations, supporting its push toward sustainable manufacturing.
This marks Poly Medicure’s first off-site solar PPA, replacing 35 per cent of conventional power across its five manufacturing plants in Faridabad. The solar power rate is projected to be 30 per cent lower than the current discom supply, reducing electricity costs and scope-2 emissions in line with the company’s sustainability goals.
Established in 1995, Poly Medicure Limited is a medical device manufacturer with 12 production facilities across four countries, producing over 1.5 billion medical devices annually.
