Rajesh Power Services Limited has secured a turnkey contract worth Rs 1.43 billion from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) for underground power infrastructure in Gujarat.
The project involves converting the existing 11 kV and 22 kV high-tension overhead network into an underground cable and multi-volt concentric cable system. The work will be carried out under the system improvement scheme across Valsad City, Valsad Rural, and Surat Rural regions.
This follows a Rs 2.20 billion turnkey contract awarded to Rajesh Power in July by Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL). That project covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV medium voltage covered conductor infrastructure.
