THDC India Limited has initiated draft tube erection work in Unit 2 of the Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (HEP).
The project, with a total capacity of 444 MW, is situated on the Alaknanda River near Helong village in Uttarakhand. It is expected to be commissioned by December 2026.
