Andhra Pradesh unveils Sustainable Electric Mobility Policy 4.0

Shakti Pumps wins Rs 7.54 billion solar water pump contract from MSEDCL

Shakti Pumps Limited has secured a contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to supply and install 25,000 stand-alone off-grid direct current solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.  The contract, valued at Rs 7.54 billion, includes the design, manufacture, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of the systems. Adani Green forms SPVs for renewable energy projects

G R Infraprojects wins bid for Karnataka Bijapur REZ project

G R Infraprojects Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the Transmission Scheme to integrate the Bijapur Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) in Karnataka.  The project was awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis. Ambuja Cements commissions 200 MW solar project in Gujarat

Ambuja Cements has commissioned its 200 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat, with transmission starting on December 12, 2024.  The remaining 806 MW capacity is under various commissioning stages and is expected to be operational between March and June 2025. This project is projected to reduce power costs by 70 per cent compared to current rates. Powergrid wins bids for Kudankulam and Karnataka RE projects

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has received Letters of Intent (LoI) for two major transmission projects.  These include the transmission system under ISTS for evacuating power from Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 and 4 (2×1000 MW) and the system strengthening at Koppal-II and Gadag-II for integrating renewable energy (RE) generation projects in Karnataka.
