Waaree Renewable Energy Technologies Limited, formerly Sangam Renewables Limited, has won a contract from Mahindra Susten to supply solar modules for the 200 MW/280 MWp Rajasthan Solar Power Project (RUVNL).
Under the contract, Waaree will supply its ELITE series, n-type TopCon 580Wp solar modules for the project.
Mahindra Susten secured the 200 MW capacity in May 2023 by quoting a tariff of Rs 2.61 per kWh under Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (RUVNL) 1,000 MW solar auction. RUVNL had invited bids for the development of 1,000 MW state transmission utility-connected solar projects on a build, own, and operate basis.
Mahindra Susten has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with RUVNL for the project, which is expected to be commissioned within 18 months from the PPA signing date.
