Waaree Renewable bags 300 MW solar EPC order from SPPL

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 300 MW/450 MWp ground-mount solar project. The scope of work also includes two years of operation and maintenance services. The project is scheduled for completion during the 2026-27 financial year.

The order has been awarded by Sunsational Power Private Limited (SPPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Waaree Renewable Technologies, making it a related-party transaction. According to the company, the contract is domestic in nature and constitutes a commercial contract. 

Regulatory disclosure

In a regulatory filing dated June 8, 2026, Waaree Renewable stated that the disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015, read with the relevant SEBI circular issued on January 30, 2026.

The company had incorporated SPPL in May 2025 to strengthen its presence in the solar energy sector.

Financial performance

Waaree Renewable reported a 101.45% year-on-year increase in profit after tax to Rs 3,884 crore on revenue of Rs 26,537 crore for FY26. The company has guided for operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in the range of Rs 7,000–7,700 crore for FY27.

The company disclosed the order details through a regulatory filing dated June 8, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015.
