NTPC commissions 160 MW of Bhainsara solar project
State-owned NTPC has announced the commissioning of 160 MW capacity of the 320 MW Bhainsara solar project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. With this commissioning, NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity has increased to 76,294 MW. NTPC REL, a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Ltd through its wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd, has commenced commercial operations of the new capacity, effective from August 28, according to a regulatory filing by the company.
