VSL Renewable Services has secured a three-year operation and maintenance contract for Andhra Pradesh Generation Company Limited’s (APGENCO) 527 MWp solar power plant in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh.
The contract is designed to improve plant performance and ensure stable energy output. VSL will handle daily monitoring, predictive maintenance, and scheduling tasks to match electricity generation with grid needs.
The deal includes a generation-linked guarantee, which ties payments to the plant’s ability to meet energy targets. This gives APGENCO a more reliable return on investment.
Risk coverage is also part of the agreement. It includes insurance protection against natural disasters and equipment failures. Security measures are in place to safeguard both the site and personnel.
