Voltamp Transformers wins Rs 149 crore order from GETCO

Voltamp Transformers Limited has received a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for a contract valued at about Rs 149 crore, inclusive of GST. The scope includes the design, manufacture, testing, and supply of power transformers of various ratings as specified in GETCO’s tender.
The order is domestic and scheduled for completion within six months. The contract strengthens Voltamp’s position in India’s transformer manufacturing sector and reflects its continued role in supplying reliable, high-performance equipment to major utilities.
Earlier this month, the company announced that its Power Transformer division successfully manufactured, tested, and cleared inspection of a 160 MVA, 220 kV transformer at its Makarpura facility.
