Voith Hydro Private Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the electro-mechanical (E&M) works of the Mankulam Hydro Electric Project (HEP) by quoting Rs 1,770.14 million.
Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) had invited bids for the project in March 2024.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) ranked as the L2 bidder with a quote of Rs 1,970 million.
The 40 MW Mankulam HEP-Phase I, located in Devikulam taluk, Idukki district, Kerala, has a generation potential of 82 million units (MU).
