Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) has allocated 250 MW of firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects with storage to four developers. The tender, floated in April 2025, concluded after four months with tariff discovery in the range of Rs 4.76–Rs 4.77/kWh.
Juniper Green Energy secured 70 MW at Rs 4.76/kWh, while Navayuga Engineering Company and ACME Solar Holdings each received 50 MW at the same tariff. Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) was awarded the largest capacity of 80 MW at Rs 4.77/kWh. All projects will be set up on a build-own-operate basis and will integrate energy storage systems.
Similar FDRE tenders have been run by NTPC and SJVN, producing slightly different tariff outcomes. A comparison across these auctions highlights where TPDDL’s results stand.
