TotalEnergies, Masdar, and EPointZero have signed a framework for action agreement to enhance clean energy access in Africa and Asia.
The collaboration follows a meeting between UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and French President Emmanuel Macron, focusing on sustainable electricity provision and clean energy opportunities.
Masdar and TotalEnergies will work to deliver reliable and sustainable electricity to African communities, supporting long-term energy transformation. In Southeast Asia, they aim to jointly develop clean energy initiatives to strengthen regional energy infrastructure.
TotalEnergies and EPointZero will also pursue partnerships in India to support its clean energy goals, including the development of solar, wind, and energy storage projects. The initiative aligns with India’s decarbonisation efforts and aims to accelerate the country’s clean energy transition.
