Tata Power wins contract for sale of power from Nagda solar project

Tata Power Trading Company Limited (TPTCL) has secured a contract from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for the sale of power from the 85 MW/105 MWp Nagda Solar Power Project in Madhya Pradesh. Bids for the contract were invited by PGCIL in November 2024.
The scope includes selling the power procured from the project through various power and energy exchange products, such as the Green Day Ahead Market (GDAM), Day Ahead Market (DAM), and Real Time Market (RTM), while ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
The 85 MW/105 MWp solar project is being implemented by Powergrid Energy Services Limited (PESL) at Banbana village in Nagda tehsil, Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh.
