Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Ltd (TPEVCSL) to develop public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across parking sites managed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
The agreement, signed on January 21, 2025, aims to foster the adoption of electric vehicles in Delhi, aligning with Tata Power-DDL’s Green Tomorrow vision and supporting India’s Net Zero emissions target by 2070.
Under the initiative, MCD has made its public parking sites available to Tata Power-DDL for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning (SITC) of EV charging stations. The designated parking sites have been allocated for 10 years, with Tata Power-DDL collaborating with MCD to identify additional locations for future installations.
