MNRE proposes RLMM rule changes to promote local sourcing

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued draft amendments to the procedure for listing or updating wind turbine models in the Revised List of Models and Manufacturers (RLMM).  The proposed changes are aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing, tightening cybersecurity controls, and simplifying documentation. EU set to add record 89 GW of renewables in 2025

MNRE issues revised draft guidelines for prototype wind turbines

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released revised draft guidelines for the installation and certification of prototype wind turbines in India. The new framework allows manufacturers up to three years to complete type testing and secure certification from internationally accredited agencies. Vestas secures turbines order for Ukraine’s largest wind energy project

PPC Renewables orders 100 MW of wind turbines for Greek projects

PPC Renewables, a subsidiary of PPC Group, has ordered 19 Nordex N149/5.X turbines, totalling 100 MW of capacity, for three wind farms in Greece.
