Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited (HPPPL) has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for a 300 MW/425 MWp solar project.  The installation will be Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected and located in Madhya Pradesh. On 27 November 2024, NHPC signed a power sale agreement (PSA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for the supply of 1,280 MW of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE).  The agreement, formalized in Lucknow, is part of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) Renewable Energy Implementing Agency (REIA) scheme.
