ACME Solar and Hexa Climate Solutions win bids for NTPC’s FDRE projects

SECI debars Reliance Power and subsidiaries from tenders over fake documents

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has barred Reliance Power (R-Power) and its subsidiaries from participating in its tenders for three years, following the submission of a fake document by R-Power for a SECI tender issued in June.  The notice, released on November 6, under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), specifies that entities, including Reliance NU BESS Limited and other subsidiaries of Reliance Power, are prohibited from SECI tenders until 2027….

Inox Wind reports Rs 902.2 million profit in Q2 FY24, income up 93%

Inox Wind Limited has announced a net profit of Rs 902.2 million for the quarter ending September 2024, contrasting with a loss of Rs 292.3 million in the same quarter last year.  Total income rose significantly, increasing by 93 percent to Rs 7,417.4 million, compared to Rs 3,844 million in the same period the previous year.

Tata Power to invest Rs 5.5 billion in renewable energy for Noida Airport

India’s short-term power trading market grows 12% in FY24

Power trading in India’s short-term market rose by 12% in FY24, reaching 218.22 billion units (BU) from 194.35 BU in FY23, as reported by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC). Short-term transactions, including deviation settlement mechanism (DSM) volumes, consist of contracts under one year, executed bilaterally or through power exchanges, representing 12.5% of the country’s total electricity generation. Cadeler secures turbine installation contract for UK’s EA 2 wind farm
