R S Infraprojects wins Rs 1.14 bn contract for Jharkhand transmission lines

R S Infraprojects Private Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 1,144.64 million under the Jharkhand Power System Improvement Project. The contract covers the construction of two 220 kV double-circuit (DC) transmission lines. The first line will run 47.7 km from Chaibasa (PGCIL) to Jadugoda (New), while the second will span 51.3 km from Chandil (New) to Jadugoda (New). The total project length is 99 km. DVC re-invites bids for 234 MW floating solar project on Maithon Dam

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has re-issued tenders for setting up 234 MW/328 MWp floating solar power projects on Maithon Dam. The bids were re-invited on May 9, 2025, with the submission deadline set for June 16, 2025. The project will be located across Dhanbad in Jharkhand and Paschim Bardhaman in West Bengal.
