Suzlon has secured a 302.4 MW wind power project order from JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables, in Koppal, Karnataka.

This follows a 400 MW order won in November 2024, bringing Suzlon’s total Commercial and Industrial (C&I) orders from Jindal Renewables in Karnataka to 702.4 MW, marking the largest cumulative C&I order from a single customer in India.

Under the agreement, Suzlon will supply 96 S144 wind turbine generators with Hybrid Lattice Towers, each rated at 3.15 MW capacity.

The generated energy will be used for captive consumption at steel plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, supporting operational sustainability and contributing to India’s green energy transition.

C&I customers now account for 56% of Suzlon’s record 5.4 GW total order book, its highest-ever to date.
