Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has issued Letters of Award (LoAs) to Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL) and Integrum Energy Infrastructure Limited for setting up a total of 100 MW captive wind power capacity.

Suzlon will develop a 50 MW wind power project in Madhya Pradesh, while Integrum Energy will set up another 50 MW project in Maharashtra. Both projects will be implemented on a lump sum turn key (LSTK) basis.

The LoAs were issued on May 7, 2025. BPCL had invited bids through a Request for Proposal (RfP) in August 2024.

Power from the Madhya Pradesh project will meet captive requirements of BPCL’s Bina Refinery. The Maharashtra project will supply power to BPCL’s Mumbai Refinery.

Both projects are scheduled for completion within 24 months from the date of LoA.
