SUN Energy secures USD 10 million facility from SMBC Indonesia

SUN Energy has partnered with PT Bank SMBC Indonesia to obtain a USD 10 million Multi Option Trade Facility.
The financing will support raw material procurement and expand solar energy projects in Indonesia’s commercial and industrial sectors.
SMBC Indonesia, which disbursed nearly USD 1.1 billion in sustainable loans by September 2024, will provide financial tools such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and working capital loans to ensure SUN Energy’s project continuity.
This collaboration aims to enhance SUN Energy’s competitiveness in tenders and reinforce renewable energy efforts.
