Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has received a letter of intent from a private power producer to execute an engineering, procurement and construction package for a 300 MW AC solar project in Rajasthan.
The project will have a capacity of 420 MWp DC and include a 220/33 kV pooling substation. The contract is valued at around Rs 4.15 billion, covering operations, maintenance, and applicable taxes.
In August 2025, SWREL was selected as the lowest bidder for a turn-key engineering, procurement, and construction contract to develop 245 MW AC of solar capacity in Gujarat.
The company’s overall portfolio includes more than 22.8 GWp of solar projects either completed or under development. It also manages 9.3 GWp of projects under operations and maintenance, which covers assets built by third-party developers.
