Solarium Green wins Rs 186 crore solar EPC order in Maharashtra

Solarium Green Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) dated June 22, 2026, for the execution of a 50 MW AC / 65 MW DC solar photovoltaic (PV) power project in Maharashtra. The contract has an order value of approximately Rs 186.525 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The project is being implemented under Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO), with Solarium Green Energy acting as a sub-contractor for one of MAHAGENCO’s clients.

Project scope

The scope of work includes end-to-end Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the solar power project on a turnkey basis. In addition to project execution, the company will provide Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of 36 months after commissioning.

According to the company, the detailed EPC execution schedule will be finalised in the definitive agreement, while the O&M period has been fixed at three years.

Order details

The identity of the awarding entity has not been disclosed publicly due to confidentiality obligations with the client. However, the project forms part of a MAHAGENCO initiative in Maharashtra.

The company stated that the contract does not involve any related party transaction and that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity.

Strengthening solar portfolio

The order adds a utility-scale solar project to Solarium Green Energy’s EPC portfolio and expands its presence in Maharashtra’s renewable energy market. Large-scale solar installations continue to form a significant part of India’s renewable energy capacity additions, driven by state and central procurement programmes.

The contract is also expected to contribute to the company’s execution pipeline through both the construction phase and the three-year O&M period.
