Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. and the Chamber of Indian Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (CIMSME) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote solar energy adoption across India.

Under the initiative, 100,000 solar rooftop systems will be installed in homes by 2026 in support of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

A mobile application, developed by CIMSME in collaboration with Servotech, will streamline the solar installation process from roof inspection and documentation to system monitoring and subsidy applications. CIMSME will deploy around 30,000 individuals across the country to facilitate sales, provide support, and oversee installations.

Servotech, registered with 62 distribution companies (DISCOMs), will offer end-to-end solar solutions, including the installation of Solar Photovoltaic Generation Systems (SPGS) ranging from 2kW to 10kW. The company will also provide ongoing maintenance to ensure system performance.

Raman Bhatia, Founder and Managing Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., stated that the collaboration aims to make solar energy accessible to every Indian household. Mukesh Mohan Gupta, President of CIMSME, emphasized that the initiative aligns with India’s renewable energy goals and will accelerate solar adoption at the grassroots level.

In December 2024, Servotech Renewable secured an order to install 1,094 grid-connected solar-powered agriculture pumps under the PM KUSUM Scheme’s Component C-1. The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Authority (UPNEDA) awarded the project, valued at approximately Rs 310 million.
