RECPDCL incorporates new SPVs for RE-linked transmission projects

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has set up three new Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) to implement upcoming transmission infrastructure projects. The three newly incorporated SPVs are:

  • Ananthapuram II Power Transmission Limited, for the Transmission System for Integration of Ananthapuram-II REZ – Phase-II (3 GW).

     

  • Davanagere Power Transmission Limited, for Transmission system strengthening at Davanagere to integrate RE generation.

     

  • Jalna Power Transmission Limited, for the establishment of a 400/132 kV substation at Jalna in Maharashtra.

In addition to these, RECPDCL has also incorporated Umred Power Transmission Limited, Sakoli Power Transmission Limited, and SR WR Power Transmission Limited earlier this month. These companies are similarly expected to support future transmission network requirements.
