REC Limited has appointed Shri Rajesh Kumar as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 2, 2026.
The company’s Board of Directors approved the appointment at its meeting held on April 15, 2026. The move follows an intimation submitted by REC to the stock exchanges on April 2, 2026.
Shri Rajesh Kumar’s elevation strengthens the senior leadership team at the state-owned power sector financing company, which plays a significant role in funding India’s power infrastructure and renewable energy projects. He has over 30 years of experience in the public sector, with a focus on power and infrastructure financing.
Before this appointment, he served as Executive Director (Finance) at REC Limited. In that role, he contributed to shaping the company’s financial strategy and supporting its growth trajectory.
