REC announces incorporation of Apta Power Transmission

REC Limited stated that Apta Power Transmission Limited was incorporated on December 24, 2025. The entity is a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), which is itself a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited.
According to the annexure shared with the filing, Apta Power Transmission Limited has been incorporated with an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs 5,00,000. The company has been formed pursuant to an order issued by the Government of Maharashtra on October 3, 2025, allocating an intra-state transmission project for the establishment of a 765/400/220 kilovolt (kV) Air Insulated Substation (AIS) Apta in the Raigad district.
REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has been appointed as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for this project. RECPDCL had invited bids for the selection of a Transmission Service Provider for the project earlier this month.
The disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
