Quality Power Electrical Equipments Limited (QPEEL) has landed an order worth Rs 197 million for the supply of reactors for flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) used in power transmission.
The single large order, placed by a Fortune 500 client, is specifically geared toward coil products for FACTS applications in the renewable energy segment. The scope includes the supply of high-performance reactors, with delivery expected within 15–18 months. Revenue from the order will be recognized in phases starting Q3 of FY 2025–26.
The win highlights QPEEL’s growing presence in the High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and FACTS sectors and reinforces its credibility in handling large-scale, technically demanding projects. It also aligns with India’s increasing focus on modernizing its power infrastructure.
QPEEL is also seeing steady growth internationally, with recent orders from the US, UK, Iraq, and Finland. The company’s established global presence and manufacturing capacity provide a buffer against potential tariff-related challenges.
No additional investments or workforce expansions are required to execute this project, as QPEEL’s existing facilities are sufficient.
