Swaraj Tractors has partnered with Mahindra Susten to develop a 26 MW solar project in Bathinda district, marking Punjab’s largest solar group captive project. This initiative aims to increase Swaraj Tractors’ renewable energy share to up to 50 per cent.

The project, undertaken by Mahindra Susten, will supply clean energy to four Swaraj Tractors manufacturing facilities in Mohali and Dera Bassi. It is expected to generate 60 million kWh of renewable electricity annually, reducing around 54,600 tonnes of carbon emissions.

This project also marks Mahindra Susten’s entry into Punjab, strengthening its presence as a renewable independent power producer.

Swaraj Tractors, established in 1974, is the tractor manufacturing division of the Mahindra Group. It produces tractors ranging from 11.2 kW to 49.2 kW, supporting farming solutions and horticulture mechanisation.
