PPC Renewables, a subsidiary of PPC Group, has ordered 19 Nordex N149/5.X turbines, totalling 100 MW of capacity, for three wind farms in Greece. These include Rodopi in northern Greece, Livadaki in Phocis, and Timenio in Arcadia.
The turbines, with 100-meter hub heights, will be maintained under a 20-year Premium Service contract. Upon completion in 2026, the wind farms will generate over 280 GWh annually, reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 142,000 tonnes.
Nordex Group Chief Sales Officer Patxi Landa highlighted the milestone of surpassing 1 GW of sold turbines in Greece since 2018, emphasizing the energy optimization capabilities of the Delta4000 series turbines.
In Spain, Nordex Group secured orders totalling 259 MW from four customers for projects in Castilla y León, Navarra, Andalusia, and Aragón. The orders include 42 turbines of various models from the Delta4000 series, with service contracts ranging from 10 to 25 years.
Installation of the Spanish turbines will begin in autumn 2025, with commissioning expected by the end of the year. Nordex received over 524 MW of new orders in Spain last year, including the 265 MW Baza Cluster project, further strengthening its position in the market.
