POWERGRID ER NER Transmission Limited, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL), has fully commissioned the inter-state transmission system (ISTS) project titled System Strengthening Scheme for Eastern and North Eastern Regions.
The project was secured through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB). With a total cost of Rs 3.08 billion, the project involves strategic upgrades to enable greater inter-state power transfer and support regional power reliability.
The company announced the development in a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE), in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
