Powerica incorporates renewable energy subsidiary Windfusion Renewable

Powerica Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Windfusion Renewable Private Limited (WRPL), to develop renewable energy projects across wind, solar and hybrid segments.

The company received approval for the incorporation from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on June 26, 2026. The incorporation follows Powerica’s earlier intimation dated May 28, 2026.

Business focus

According to the company, WRPL has been incorporated to undertake the setting up, development and construction of renewable power projects, including wind power projects, wind parks, solar power projects, wind-solar hybrid projects and power generation from renewable sources.

The subsidiary has been incorporated in India and will operate in the renewable energy sector.

Investment details

Powerica has subscribed to 100% of the paid-up share capital of WRPL through a cash investment.

The company has subscribed to 2,50,000 equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 each, aggregating to Rs 25 lakh. Following the subscription, WRPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Powerica, with the company holding 100% ownership and control.

Powerica said no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation.
