Bajaj Electricals posts Rs 34 crore loss in Q3 FY26
Bajaj Electricals Limited reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 34 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, compared with a profit of Rs 33 crore in the same period last year. Revenue declined 18.5% year on year to Rs 1,051 crore, while EBIT turned negative at Rs 8 crore. The company cited channel inventory normalisation in its Consumer Products segment and an exceptional charge of Rs 29 crore linked to new labour codes as key factors. The Lighting Solutions segment reported a 9.1% year-on-year increase, partly offsetting weakness elsewhere.
Bondada Engineering commissions 69.51 MWp solar projects
Bondada Engineering Limited commissioned 69.51 MWp of solar capacity during January 2026 across Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The projects were executed for Paradigm IT, MAHAGENCO, and NLC India Limited at sites including Hingoli, Achalpur, Bhusawal, Vajiapur, and Neyveli. The company said the commissioning reinforces its role as an EPC partner in the renewable energy sector. It attributed timely execution to disciplined project management and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Ceigall India wins Rs 1,700 crore solar-plus-storage project in Madhya Pradesh
Ceigall India Limited received a Letter of Award from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited for a 220 MW solar project integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System at the Morena Solar Park. The project, valued at around Rs 1,700 crore, was awarded at a tariff of Rs 2.70 per kWh through competitive bidding. It has a construction period of 24 months and an operational tenure of 25 years. The project is expected to support grid stability while adding renewable capacity in Madhya Pradesh.
Genus Power appoints executive director, posts strong Q3 FY26 results
Genus Power Infrastructures Limited appointed Nathu Lal Nama as Additional and Whole Time Director for two years, effective February 9, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. For Q3 FY26, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 140.2 crore, up from Rs 56.7 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 85.8% year on year to Rs 1,122 crore, while EBITDA increased to Rs 212.5 crore. The executable order book stood at Rs 27,217 crore as of December 31, 2025.
NTPC Green commissions 14.43 MW solar capacity in Gujarat
NTPC Green Energy Limited declared 14.43 MW from its Khawda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat commercially operational from February 10, 2026. This marks the eleventh segment of the 1,255 MW project being developed under the CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III. With this addition, the group’s installed capacity increased to 8,827.68 MW. The project is being implemented by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited.
Premier Energies approves renewable EPC JV
Premier Energies Limited approved the formation of a 51:49 joint venture with BA Prerna Renewables Private Limited through HeliosAnthos Energies Private Limited. The joint venture will focus on EPC contracts for solar, wind, battery energy storage systems, and hybrid projects. Premier Energies will invest Rs 10,45,500 for a 51% stake with management control. The board also extended timelines for acquisitions involving Koslare Energy Private Limited and Transcon Ind Limited to April 15, 2026.
Pace Digitek reports Q3 FY26 growth; plans BESS capacity expansion from 5 GWh to 10 GWh

MNRE expands ALMM, adds 17 GW of solar module capacity
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy updated the ALMM for solar modules, adding around 17 GW of approved manufacturing capacity. Total enlisted module capacity now stands at about 162 GW. Eight new manufacturers were added, while several existing players expanded capacity or added new models. The update also includes expanded capacity by Pahal Solar to 3 GW across two facilities.
Adani Energy secures Japanese financing for 6,000 MW HVDC link
Adani Energy Solutions Limited secured long-term financing from a consortium of Japanese banks for a 6,000 MW HVDC transmission project. The ±800 kV link will transmit solar power from Bhadla in Rajasthan to Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh over about 950 kilometres. The project is targeted for commissioning by 2029 and is aligned with AESL’s sustainable debt framework. HVDC technology will be supplied by Hitachi in collaboration with BHEL.
Oswal Pumps posts strong revenue growth in 9M FY26
Oswal Pumps Limited reported total income of Rs 15,692 million for the nine months ended FY26, up 47.0% year on year. Profit after tax stood at Rs 2,837 million, with an 18.1% margin. In Q3 FY26, income rose 33.4% to Rs 5,077 million, while PAT reached Rs 916 million. The company cited steady execution under the PM-KUSUM scheme and reported an order book of over 24,500 pumps.
HiTHIUM completes open-door fire test of 6.25MWh LDES system
HiTHIUM completed an open-door fire test of a 6.25MWh long-duration energy storage system under UL and NFPA standards. The test simulated worst-case conditions, including full state of charge and disabled fire suppression systems. The company reported no explosions or thermal propagation to adjacent containers. HiTHIUM said the results validate system-level safety at higher energy density.
TotalEnergies signs 1 GW solar PPAs with Google in Texas
TotalEnergies signed two 15-year PPAs with Google for 1 GW of solar capacity to supply data centres in Texas. The agreements cover electricity from the 805 MWp Wichita project and the 195 MWp Mustang Creek project, with construction starting in Q2 2026. The projects are expected to deliver around 28 TWh of renewable electricity. The deal represents TotalEnergies’ largest renewable PPA in the United States to date.
