Premier Energies Limited has approved the formation of a new joint venture focused on renewable energy engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The decisions were taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on February 9, 2026.
The board cleared an investment in HeliosAnthos Energies Private Limited to form a 51:49 joint venture with BA Prerna Renewables Private Limited. The proposed joint venture will execute EPC contracts for solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hybrid projects in India. Premier Energies will hold a 51% equity stake along with management control for a cash consideration of Rs 10,45,500.
Alongside the joint venture approval, the board extended timelines for two earlier acquisition proposals. The date to complete conditions for acquiring a 51% stake in Koslare Energy Private Limited has been extended to April 15, 2026. The timeline for acquiring the remaining equity tranche in Transcon Ind Limited has also been extended to April 15, 2026, due to pending conditions precedent.
