PFCCL transfers transmission subsidiaries to Powergrid

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL), a subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited, has transferred two wholly owned subsidiaries, Khavda PSI and 3 Transmission Limited and Barmer I Transmission Limited, to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) for a total of Rs 268.2 million.
Khavda PSI and 3 Transmission Limited was transferred for Rs 79.2 million, and Barmer I Transmission Limited for Rs 189 million.
Barmer I Transmission Limited focuses on establishing a new 765/400/220 kV Barmer-I Pooling substation, along with 765 kV and 400 kV double-circuit transmission lines and associated bay extension works in Rajasthan. This project is being executed on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.
Khavda PS1 and 3 Transmission Limited involves the provision of dynamic reactive compensation at Khavda Pooling Station 1 (KPS1) and Khavda Pooling Station 3 (KPS3) in Gujarat. The project includes the installation of two ±300 MVAR Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOMs) at KPS1 and one ±300 MVAR STATCOM at KPS3, along with associated bay extension works, also on a BOOT basis.
