PFCCL invites bids for evacuation of RE power from Dharashiv, Beed

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has invited Request for Proposal (RfP) bids for selection of a transmission service provider (TSP) through tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) process on build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis for the “Network Expansion scheme in Maharashtra for Evacuation of RE Power from Dharashiv, Beed District in Maharashtra.” The last date for submission of bids is August 1, 2025.

PFCCL has been appointed as the bid process coordinator (BPC). The scheme involves the development of the 400/220/132 kV Washi substation with two 500 MVA, 400/220 kV interconnecting transformers (ICTs), two 300 MVA, 400/132 kV ICTs, and one 125 MVAr, 400 kV bus reactor. The substation will also include line bays at 400 kV, 220 kV, and 132 kV voltage levels, along with future provisions for solar generator connectivity.

The transmission project also covers a 400 kV double circuit transmission line from the new Washi substation to the proposed 765/400 kV AIS Pune (East), 220 kV double circuit lines to existing substations at Manjarsumba and Paranda, and a 132 kV double circuit line to the existing Kalamb substation. 

Additional bays will be installed at Manjarsumba, Paranda, Kalamb, and Pune (East) substations for line terminations. The respective utilities will provide space for these bays.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the effective date.
