PFC Consulting has invited bids to establish transmission systems for evacuating 6 GW of power to support green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing projects in Kandla and Mundra, Gujarat. The projects will be executed on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis, encompassing surveys, detailed project reports, financing, project management, permit acquisition, land compensation, design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.

For the Kandla Transmission Project (Phase 1), bids must be submitted by December 17, 2024, with openings on the same day. Bidders need to provide an earnest money deposit of Rs 256 million and a document fee of Rs 500,000 plus 8% GST. Eligible bidders must have completed infrastructure projects totalling Rs 12.8 billion over the last five years, with each project costing at least Rs 2.56 billion. Alternatively, they must have received payments totalling Rs 12.8 billion for projects, with each project receiving at least Rs 2.56 billion. Bidders’ net worth should be a minimum of Rs 5.12 billion over the past three financial years.

For the Mundra Transmission Project (Phase 1: Part B1), bids must be submitted by December 18, 2024, with bid openings the same day. The document fee is also Rs 500,000 plus 8% GST. Bidders need to show experience in infrastructure projects totalling Rs 9.1 billion over the last five years, with each project valued at no less than Rs 1.82 billion. Alternatively, they must have received payments of Rs 9.1 billion for projects, with each project receiving at least Rs 1.82 billion. The required net worth is Rs 3.64 billion over the past three financial years.
