MoEFCC eases compliance for renewable energy projects

The Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has simplified compliance requirements for renewable energy projects. Solar module manufacturing units, solar and wind power projects, and mini hydel projects under 25 MW are now exempt from obtaining Environmental Clearance (EC) and Consent to Establish (CTE).
