Orient Green completes 9.9 MW wind expansion in Tamil Nadu

Orient Green Power Company Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Gamma Green Power Private Limited, has completed a 9.9 MW wind energy capacity expansion in Tamil Nadu. The final procedural formalities for commissioning the last of three wind turbine generators (WTGs) are expected to conclude by the end of day on April 27, 2026.
The company informed stock exchanges that Gamma Green Power received the service connection for the remaining 3.3 MW WTG on April 27, 2026. This follows earlier service connections for the other two units, which were communicated on March 20, 2026.
With this, the subsidiary has installed all three planned WTGs of 3.3 MW each in Tiruchirapalli district, completing the project within the execution timeline outlined in the company’s initial disclosure dated February 2, 2026.
The project was executed on a turnkey basis under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract with Renfra Energy India Limited.
