Odisha approves 7 renewable energy projects worth Rs 13.86 billion

The Odisha government has approved seven renewable energy projects with a combined investment of Rs 13.86 billion to enhance the state’s sustainable energy infrastructure.
The projects, totaling 192.41 MW in capacity, include a 99 MW wind power project, five ground-mounted solar projects totaling 91.77 MW, and a 1.64 MW rooftop solar project.
These initiatives align with the Odisha Renewable Energy Policy 2022, which aims to leverage the state’s natural resources for clean energy generation.
