NTPC Green commissions 210 MW at Khavda-II solar project

NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared the commercial operation of a 210 MW segment of its Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat, with effect from February 1, 2026. The commissioning increases the total installed capacity of the NTPC group to 87,665 MW.
The newly commissioned capacity forms the first phase of the 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project. The project is being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. The segment achieved its Commercial Operation Date (COD) from 00:00 hours on February 1, 2026.
Following this addition, the commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has increased to 8,478.25 MW, while its total installed capacity now stands at 8,688.25 MW. At the NTPC group level, total installed capacity has reached 87,665 MW, with commercial capacity of 86,585 MW.
